Meanings:
saamnaaÄ conciliation, negotiation ya~ Ä where,
isaiw:Ä accomplishment, t~ Ä there,
dND: Ä punishment, bauQaona Ä by a wise man,
na ivainayaaojya: Ä should not be recommended,
ip<aM Ä acidity, bile yaid Ä if,
Sak-ryaa Ä sugar, Saamyait Ä pacified,
k: Aqa-: Ä what is the purpose, pTaolaona Ä of snake-gourd.
Translation: If (the objective is) accomplished by negotiation, there
punishment should not be recommended by a wise man. If bile is
pacified by (rock) sugar, what is the purpose of a snake-gourd?

Translation:
Like a medicine, self-earned money should be enjoyed slowly by
learned (people but) never hurriedly.

[tro Ä others, svaSai@tt: Ä as per one's own capacity.
Translation:
Guest, child, wife, mother and also father, these five members of the
family should be nourished (properly) and others as per own capacity.

Meanings:
Sas~O: Ä by weapons, hta: Ä were killed,
irpva: Ä enemies, na hta: Bavaint Ä are not killed,
p`&ahta: Ä killed by intellect, inatraM Ä certainly,
inahintÄ kills, kulaM Ä family,
ivaBavaMÄ prosperity.
Translation:
Enemies killed by weapons are not truly killed. Enemies killed by
intellect are certainly killed by all means. A weapon destroys only
body of a person; but the intellect destroys the (whole) family,
prosperity and fame.
